English

The street is a value and should be conceived as a public good. However the city, and the misery it brings about, has killed the street. Today access to the street is what the poorest lack. Faced with the dangers of bad cities, the idea of a good city open to all has become a major political stake. We should propose to build magnificent cities, because improving the aspect of cities helps build the visible dignity of each citizen and offers to all a right to urbanity.
