Lecturer in modern and contemporary history at the University of Angers and member of TEMOS (UMR 9016). She is co-editor of the journal Histoire, médecine et santé. Her research focuses on the medical construction of sex and the body, effeminacy, puberty and modesty in 18th- and 19th-century France, Switzerland and Italy.
