Emeritus researcher at the CNRS (Centre Jean Pépin, Paris-Villejuif). He has translated works by Plato, Plotinus, Porphyry and Jamblique. He has published several books and articles on the history of Greek philosophy and religion. He also periodically publishes a Platonic bibliography.
