About
Geneviève Fraisse is a French philosopher of feminist thought and director of research emeritus at CNRS/CRAL-EHESS. Her research focuses on the gender controversy, from an epistemological and political point of view, following three axes: the genealogy of democracy, concepts of emancipation and the philosophical problematization of the "sex/gender" object. Her publications include Les Femmes et leur histoire, À côté du genre, sexe et philosophie de l'égalité and, with CNRS Éditions, Le Féminisme, ça pense ! (2023) as well as L'égalité sans retour (2024).
