Emmanuel Debono is a research fellow at the French Institute of Education (ENS Lyon). His research focuses on racism and anti-racism in contemporary France. He holds a Ph.D. in history (IEP, Paris) and is the author of *Aux origines de l’antiracisme*. La LICA, 1927–1940 (Paris, CNRS Éditions, 2012).
