Why and how should artificial intelligence be regulated?
In collaboration with Groupement Français de l'Industrie de l'Information
The issue of regulating artificial intelligence (AI) is now unavoidable, raising legal, ethical and societal challenges. Given the rapid pace of technological advances, it is becoming urgent to put in place a legal framework that can control the risks associated with AI, while fostering its potential for innovation.
Why regulate AI? How can we protect the fundamental rights of individuals, whether in terms of privacy, non-discrimination or algorithm transparency? How can we guarantee transparency and fairness between players in the information chain? How can we prevent risks, but also promote AI at the service of society, respectful of fundamental human values?
