Associate Professor of Social Sciences at the École Centrale de Lyon. For the past thirty years, he has been studying soccer fans and the ways in which sports and public authorities manage them. In this capacity, he is a member of the Instance nationale du supportérisme, which reports to the Ministry of Sports.
